Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload goods efficiently, utilizing warehouse experience and heavy lifting skills to handle items of varying sizes and weights
- Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other documentation required for compliance and record-keeping
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs
- Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and stock organization
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role with a strong focus on commercial driving
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse operations and heavy lifting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages repeatedly throughout the shift
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance basics
- Prior experience with delivery routes or logistics operations is a plus
