About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Technical Administrative Assistant to support our operational and technical teams within the leak detection sector. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone with strong administrative skills, experience using systems such as Salesforce/Oracle/Dynamics, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
- Handle incoming enquiries, emails, and phone calls, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
- Support day-to-day administrative tasks for technical and operational teams.
- Prepare quotes, invoices, purchase orders, and other business documentation.
Technical Support
- Raise and manage jobs/work orders on internal and external systems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Use Salesforce/Oracle/Dynamics, and other external platforms to input, update, and track data.
- Ensure all points of interest (POIs), leak locations, and site notes are correctly logged.
- Upload and label leak photographs, boundary box types, meter details, and any relevant site assets.
- Liaise with technicians to collect missing data, clarify findings, and ensure consistency across reports and portals.
- Assist with reporting, data extraction, and tracking KPIs where required
Communication & Coordination
- Act as a key link between field teams, management, and clients.
QSHE Responsibilities
- Ability to work constructively with SHEQ advisors, engineers, and managers to ensure requirements are proportionate, understood, and applied in practice.
- Confidence to challenge unsafe, non-compliant, or poorly controlled operational behaviours, regardless of seniority or time pressure.
- Ability to communicate SHEQ requirements clearly and pragmatically to non-specialists, ensuring understanding rather than box-ticking.
- Complying with all information security policies and procedures.
- Reporting security incidents or suspicious activity promptly
- Following access control and data handling requirements
- Participating in mandatory security awareness training
- Protecting organisational assets and information
Information Security Responsibilities
As part of our commitment to ISO 27001 you will contribute to our information security responsibilities and our integrated management system. This will include but is not limited to:
- Complying with all information security policies and procedures.
- Reporting security incidents or suspicious activity promptly.
- Following access control and data handling requirements.
- Participating in mandatory security awareness training.
- Protecting organisational assets and information.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong administrative background, ideally within utilities, engineering, construction, or field‑service environments.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce/Oracle/Dynamics systems is desirable.
- Experience raising and managing jobs/work orders within internal and external systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling technical data and photographic evidence.
General Capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Organised, proactive, and able to spot missing or inconsistent information.
