Angeloz is a busy takeaway looking for a Dessert Manager to take responsibility for our dessert section and help us grow it into a much busier part of the business.
We already have an established dessert menu, but we want someone who can bring fresh ideas, introduce new desserts, improve what we already offer and help make Angeloz known for desserts as well as our main food.
This is a hands-on role. You will be responsible for preparing and completing dessert orders, packaging them correctly and making sure they are ready on time for both delivery orders and walk-in customers, especially during busy periods.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and completing dessert orders quickly and accurately
- Packaging desserts properly for takeaway and delivery
- Making sure delivery orders are ready on time
- Serving and preparing orders for walk-in customers
- Managing the dessert section during busy periods
- Keeping quality, presentation and portion sizes consistent
- Introducing new desserts and improving our current range
- Keeping up with popular and trending dessert ideas
- Managing dessert stock and placing orders
- Making sure ingredients, packaging and products are always available
- Monitoring waste and stock levels
- Keeping the dessert area clean, organised and ready for service
- Helping us increase dessert sales and make the dessert side of Angeloz busier
We are looking for someone who is fast, organised, reliable and passionate about desserts. You need to be comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple orders at once and making sure every order goes out correctly and on time.
Previous experience in a dessert shop, takeaway, café, restaurant or similar fast-paced food environment would be preferred.
We want someone who will take real ownership of the dessert side of Angeloz, bring new ideas and help us grow it into a major part of the business.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
