Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level Three Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and early childhood education to children within our nursery setting. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development across all areas.
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily activities in accordance with nursery policies.
- Support the implementation of early childhood education programmes in line with national standards.
- Lead and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Organise daily routines including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods to promote a balanced environment.
- Ensure the nursery complies with all health and safety regulations, including safeguarding procedures.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of nursery policies and procedures to enhance service quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience working within a nursery or early childhood education setting, ideally at Level Three or equivalent.
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, safeguarding policies, and early childhood development principles.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education recognised within the UK framework.
- Ability to drive is desirable but not essential; flexibility to support nursery operations as needed.

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,216.16 per year
