About us
Willow Alexander Gardeners provides professional gardening services across London and Kent, delivered by uniformed two-person crews in electric vans. We only use organic weed control, we look after our kit, and we're building a team where the people doing the work run the work.
The role
You'll run your own van, working as a pair with an operative alongside you. That means more than driving it: your van, your kit, your route, your customers, your day. You'll deliver garden maintenance to a standard you're proud to photograph and coach your operative on the job.
What you'll do
- Deliver garden maintenance, tidies, hedge work and clearances with your operative
- Run your own day: complete your morning checks, load up, and get out on time
- Deliver quality work: mowing, weeding, pruning, hedge trimming, clearance, leaf work
- Look after customers on the doorstep, including sorting problems on the spot
- Offer customers genuinely useful extras when you see the need
- Keep your van, tools and batteries clean, charged and ready, and your van plugged in every night
- Log issues through our app so the yard keeps you stocked and moving
- Coach and develop your crew mate
What we're looking for
- Solid experience in garden maintenance, grounds maintenance or landscaping
- Plant and lawn knowledge you can use in the real world: what to prune, when, and how
- Full UK driving licence (you'll drive the crew van)
- A leader's temperament: calm, organised, and happier solving a problem than reporting one
- Right to work in the UK
What we offer
- £26,000–£30,000 depending on experience
