Pharmacy Dispenser
CW Medicines Ltd – Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, SW10 9NH
Permanent | Full-Time (40 hours/week including Saturday and Sunday - schedule to be discussed at interview)
Salary: £30,882.28 per annum (pro rata), plus up to 10% discretionary bonus
We’re looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Pharmacy Dispenser to join our dynamic team at CW Medicines Ltd. Based within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a positive, solutions-focused attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high standards in pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense clinically checked prescriptions, referring any uncertainties to the ACT or Responsible Pharmacist.
- Support the ordering and stock management of medicines in collaboration with ACTs, fellow dispensers, and under the guidance of the Senior Pharmacist.
- Identify and flag potential issues with medicine administration, including interactions and patient compliance risks.
- Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, timely outpatient service.
- Ensure safe and accurate handover of dispensed prescriptions to patients.
- Maintain complete and accurate medication records for all pharmacy supplies.
