The Role
As a line Chef, you’ll be right at the heart of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and helping lead a strong, fast-moving team.
You will:
- Support the Head Chef in running day-to-day kitchen operations
- Supervise, motivate, and manage chefs at all levels
- Organise and delegate tasks across sections during prep and service
- Maintain control of stock, ordering, and prep levels
- Deliver high-quality food consistently in a fast-paced environment
- Uphold excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Ensure full compliance with all kitchen regulations and food safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year’s experience as a chef in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong organisational skills and ability to lead by example
- Confidence in managing sections and supporting junior chefs
- Passion for fresh food and high standards
- Reliable, hardworking, and calm under pressure
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen compliance
