Experienced Sheet Metal Worker/Welder / Fabricator
You will possess proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding of mild steel and stainless steel, along with strong sheet metal working skills, including rolling is required.
Able to work independently as well as part of a small team, in the workshop and on-site. Good communication skills are important, as this role occasionally involves working directly with customers.
You should be able to work with a variety of machine tools including welding, bending and cutting equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Manufacturing of components to engineering drawings or verbal instruction
Fabrication and welding of specialist and bespoke items
Use of a full range of workshop equipment to assist with the above
MIG and TIG welding of mild and Stainless steel to a good standard
Installation of completed items on customer premises
Essential skills required:
Welding experience (MIG&TIG) of mild steel and stainless steel
Fully competent sheet metal worker (including rolling)
Ability to use a CNC press break
Ability to use guillotine
Competent fabricator
Desirable skills
Valid CSCS card
Full, clean driving licence
IPAF
PASMA
FLT training
Polishing
Aluminium Tig Welding
Qualifications in Mig & Tig Welding
Hours are full-time, Monday to Friday with flexibility for out of hours working whenever required.
Salary - dependent on experience.
