Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering excellent bar service during events, ensuring guests enjoy a high-quality experience that reflects the elegance and character of our historic venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, efficient, and high-standard service to all guests.
- Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks.
- Operate tills and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Set up and pack down the bar before and after events, including restocking and assisting the team however is necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
- Work closely with the Events and Facilities teams to ensure seamless service.
- Monitor guest behaviour and adhere to responsible alcohol service policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Understanding of licensing laws and health & safety regulations.
- Barista Experience desirable but not essential.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.71 per hour
