Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ventilation Service and Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, service, and maintain ventilation systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and installation manuals to execute precise system setups.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues promptly to minimise downtime, including air conditioning units and related mechanical components.
- Lead small teams during installation projects, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of ventilation systems to identify potential faults or inefficiencies and perform necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to coordinate installation schedules and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system specifications for future reference and compliance purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in ventilation system installation, maintenance, or related mechanical roles within construction or engineering environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Experience with equipment repair and general maintenance tasks.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to supervise teams during installation projects.
- Construction experience is highly desirable to facilitate seamless integration into various work sites.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure safety standards are met consistently.
- Valid relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or HVAC systems
