CHEF – Café Bar 1780, PRINCE’S SQUARE, GLASGOW
Café Bar 1780 in the heart of Glasgow’s stylish Prince’s Square. Serving an all-day menu with breakfast, brunch, light lunches, and evening dining featuring quality steaks, burgers, and more. Add in regular live music and events, and 1780 is a buzzing hotspot where food and atmosphere go hand in hand.
We’re now looking for a Chef to join our team.
THE ROLE
As a Chef at Café Bar 1780, you’ll play an important part in delivering great food, every service. From prep to plating, you’ll help maintain consistency, keep standards high, and support your team so the kitchen runs smoothly.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking dishes to spec and standard
- Helping to keep the kitchen clean, organised, and safe
- Supporting stock, prep, and service across different sections
- Bringing a positive, can-do attitude to every shift

YOU’LL NEED
- Previous chef experience in a busy kitchen
- A good understanding of food prep, organisation, and service
- A team-first attitude and willingness to support across sections
- A passion for fresh, consistent, well-presented food
- Reliability, good energy, and a positive approach to work
