Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and assisting guests with their culinary choices. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery during peak hours.
Skills
- Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest services to create memorable experiences.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Experience in upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar setting is advantageous .
