Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for dedicated and experienced Rehabilitation Support Workers to join our compassionate team at Yorkshire Community Care, supporting our client in the South Manchester area.
Client suffered the following injuries:
Spinal Cord Injury- C4
This is a full time role of 36 hours per week
shift patterns are : 8AM-10PM- Waking
10PM until 8AM- Sleeping Nights

Duties
- Deliver personalised, high-quality care and support tailored to the client’s individual needs.
- Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility and meal preparation.
- Administer medication and monitor health and wellbeing, responding appropriately to any changes.
- Support community access, accompanying the client on outings, ensuring accessibility and safety.
- Provide emotional support, encouragement and companionship.
- Maintain accurate records of all care provided and report any concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
What We’re Looking For
- Full time 36 hours per week and must be able to work days and nights
- You must have experience in Complex Care and mental health experience for at least 6 months.
- Experience with Mental health, Spinal Cord injury,
- Must have a Full UK driving license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, positive, and empathetic personality.
- Awareness of accessibility needs, including wheelchair-friendly routes, transport and venues.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider care team.
- Someone who can bring warmth, humour and creativity to the role.
