Cleaning Supervisor / Trainer — Reading/Berkshire
Titan Facilities Services is a growing commercial cleaning company serving clients across Surrey, Berkshire and the wider M25 corridor. As we expand our team, we're looking for an experienced cleaner to take on a new role: finding, training, and supporting new starters as they join us.
About the role
This isn't a desk job — you'll be out on real jobs alongside new cleaners, showing them the ropes across our core services: end of tenancy cleans, after-builder cleans, deep cleans, student home turnovers, Airbnb turnovers, and some commercial cleaning. You'll also play a part in bringing new people into the business in the first place.
Pay reflects a combination of a weekly retainer plus hourly cleaning/training rates - see below for the full breakdown.
What you'll be doing
- Accompanying new cleaners on jobs to train them on the ground — primarily end of tenancy, after-builder, and deep cleans, with some student lets, Airbnb turnovers, and commercial work
- Helping new starters build confidence and hit our quality standards
- Supporting recruitment — flagging good candidates and helping with trial shifts
- Providing ongoing coaching as new team members settle in
What we're looking for
- Solid, hands-on cleaning experience — ideally including end of tenancy, after-builder, or deep clean work
- Comfortable explaining and demonstrating tasks to someone new
- Patient, clear communicator — happy working with a range of backgrounds and experience levels
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage paid at HMRC rates)
- Reliable, well organised, and happy with variable day-to-day tasks
What's not included: this role doesn't cover grounds maintenance work.
Pay & benefits
- Weekly retainer (£100-150) on top of standard cleaning pay, reflecting the training/recruitment responsibilities of the role
- £13/hour for regular cleans, £15/hour for specialist cleans (end of tenancy, after-builder, deep cleans, Airbnb turnovers) — same as our standard cleaner rates
- Extra £2-3/hour when actively training a new starter
- £50 bonus for every new hire you help bring in who's still with us after a month
- Mileage reimbursed at standard HMRC rates (business-use insurance required)
- DBS check provided as part of onboarding
- Pay negotiable for candidates with strong relevant experience
