MJ Wilson Group has been established since 1972 and is a leading supplier of process instrumentation, valves & controls, pipeline products, stud-bolts, fasteners, gaskets, engineering consumables and associated services. The Group has a network of branches and engineers throughout the UK.
We are currently seeking a suitable candidate to fill an internal sales position within our Pembroke Dock branch, based at The Bridge Innovation Centre, Pembrokeshire Science & Technology Park. Our Pembroke base was established in March 2019 and has gone from strength to strength, becoming an established engineering resource for businesses in Pembrokeshire and further afield.
The successful candidate will be working alongside a small engineering team assisting with product and general enquiries from our customers in the area. From our Pembroke facility, we offer a wide range of engineering products from consumables, fasteners, certified bolting through to piping supplies, valves, process instrumentation and associated services.
This is a busy and varied role where a positive and helpful attitude is required to ensure we service our customers in a timely manner. The role will include the full sales cycle from fielding sales enquiries, whether email, telephone or occasionally, face to face in branch or on site, to preparing quotations and proposals, booking goods in/out, packing/loading and delivery within the local area.
An engineering background is required for the role where some knowledge of the product categories mentioned above, and a sales background, would be an advantage but not essential as training will be offered. A clean driving license is required as we offer a local delivery service from the branch.
