As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and caring environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You’ll help inspire curiosity, encourage independence, and build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and our wonderful team.
Your Day-to-Day Duties Will Include:
· Supporting children’s learning and development through play, exploration, and invitations to play
· Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Birth to 5 Matters
· Creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that spark imagination and curiosity for children aged 3 months – 5 years
· Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
· Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all children at all times
· Working closely with parents and carers to support each child’s unique journey
· Contributing to the overall warmth, teamwork, and high standards of our nursery
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
· Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent)
· A genuine passion for working with young children
· A growing understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
