Business Development Officer
Location: Aston, Birmingham

We’re looking for a confident, commercially minded and highly organised Business Development Officer to join our organisation and support the growth and development of our education and social care services.
This is a varied role covering our Independent School, Children’s Residential Homes and Adult Supported Living services, working closely with senior leaders, operational teams, commissioners and external partners.
The Role:
You’ll play a key part in:
- Managing referrals, admissions, placements and transitions.
- Building strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, NHS partners, schools and other stakeholders.
- Supporting marketing, networking and business development activity.
- Identifying opportunities for service growth and development.
- Coordinating projects and supporting the mobilisation of new services.
- Supporting tenders, contracts, framework applications and commissioning activity.
- Monitoring occupancy, analysing business information and producing reports for senior management.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in business development and partnership working.
- Highly organised with strong project management skills.
- Confident building professional relationships with external stakeholders.
- Commercially aware and comfortable working with data and reports.
- An excellent communicator, negotiator and presenter.
- Proactive, resilient, solutions-focused and able to manage competing priorities.
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and adults.
- Experience within education, health or social care, particularly working with commissioners and social workers, would be highly desirable. Experience of tenders, procurement or Ofsted/CQC-regulated services would also be advantageous.

Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
