Join our growing Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery (IMOS) team!
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join our specialist IMOS service.
Working alongside experienced Oral Surgeons, you will provide high-quality patient care . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wishes to work at the weekend and with Oral Surgeons.
Essential Requirements
- Current GDC registration as a Dental Nurse
- This post if for Saturday and Sundays
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A caring, professional and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Previous experience in Oral Surgery or IMOS (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of Dentally software is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during minor oral surgery procedures
- Preparing surgeries, instruments and equipment for clinics
- Delivering exceptional patient care before, during and after treatment
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Ensuring compliance with HTM 01-05, infection prevention and GDC standards
- Assisting with stock management and clinic preparation
- Supporting clinicians to ensure clinics run efficiently and patients receive the highest standard of care
