So…. What is this role exactly?
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience and knowledge of organising and delivering activities and events, to work with the residents of Brunswick Gardens, a Retirement Living Scheme in Woodhouse, Sheffield.
As the Activity Coordinator, you will encourage and support residents to organise and lead their own activities and events, as well as building links with the wider community.
What will my working week look like?
The core hours for our customers are Monday- Friday, 9am to 5pm. The working pattern can be flexible and will be agreed with you, subject to it meeting the needs of residents and the business.
What will I be responsible for doing?
You will work closely with residents to deliver a regular and varied programme of activities and events that is engaging and accessible to all, ensuring all activities and events are delivered safely, and enabling residents to access support to attend where needed.
You will also engage with older people in the wider community, promoting the activities at Brunswick Gardens to external groups and the third sector.

To be successful as an Activity Coordinator, you will need to be able to demonstrate:

Knowledge and awareness of health and safety and safeguarding
Ideally you will also have:

Experience of working with older people
