About the role
Source Supply are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work at a small primary school in Redcar and Cleveland.
The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will be nurturing and have a kind and calm manner. You will help kickstart the children’s love for education by encouraging learning through play and exploration; you will celebrate everyone’s individual personalities – helping those who are a little shy to come out of their shell, allowing friendships to blossom.
EYFS is such an important stage in child development, therefore the school have requested an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is passionate about Early Years – the team need practitioners who can commit and show dedication to the children, allowing continuity so that the EYFS class feel safe and can build positive relationships.
It is expected that you have a solid understanding of the EYFS Curriculum as this role will be based in the Nursery.
Applicants must hold a DFE recognised qualification in early years.
Requirements
All successful applicants will:
- Hold a DFE recognised qualification in early years.
- Experience in working with children in a school setting.
- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach.
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
