Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer / QA Lead to join our clients dynamic team for a 6 month contract. The successful candidate will focus on the testing of a bespoke CRM and loan management solution. This role will be pivotal in interfacing with the business to plan and deliver Quality Assurance Testing (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance and testing methodologies, with a focus on both functional and technical aspects of software applications. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of QA, UAT, and OAT for the bespoke CRM and loan management solution.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand processes so you can develop a thorough testing plan.
- Develop, write and maintain test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation.
- Establish and manage a process for capturing defects and feedback from business users. Provide support and guidance to the business in developing test cases and scripts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Work alongside the existing technical tester to ensure comprehensive testing coverage
- Analyse test results and provide detailed feedback to stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation related to testing processes, test cases, and defect tracking.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Lead or similar role, preferably within the real estate or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and tools.
- Ability to analyse complex systems and identify potential issues proactively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of complete testing lifecycle.
- Experience in developing test cases, test scripts, and managing defect tracking processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM and loan management systems is a plus.

Monday - Friday; working hours 8am - 6pm fully onsite. Open to moving to a hybrid model after the initial 3 months.
