Duties
- Measure, cut, and prepare window and door units for installation using hand tools and power tools
- Remove old windows and doors carefully, ensuring minimal damage to surrounding structures
- Install new windows and doors according to schematics, blueprints, or technical specifications
- Seal and insulate installations to ensure energy efficiency and weatherproofing
- Use masonry, carpentry, plastering, or fabrication skills as needed to prepare openings or adjust framing
- Conduct quality checks to verify proper fit, operation, and security of installed units
- Collaborate with other construction trades such as roofing, plumbing, electrical, or masonry teams for seamless project completion
Experience
- Proven experience in window and door installation, must be able to work on there own or part of a team, min 5 years ,15 mile radius of PE19
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings for precise installation guidance
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, masonry, or construction painting is a plus
- Ability to read technical schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and equipment use
- Prior experience working with carpentry or masonry enhances your versatility on the job

Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
