Patient Administrator / Receptionist
Permanent role - Part time - Average 30 hours per week

The successful applicant should have excellent customer service and computer skills; be able to work within a friendly supportive team, use their own initiative and multitask within a busy healthcare environment whilst maintaining a good sense of humour!

Experience of working in a healthcare environment or in a receptionist role is desirable but not essential, particularly for those applying via the apprenticeship route where full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will need to cover shifts between 7.30 am and 8:15pm Monday to Saturday.
Expected working pattern:
Monday 10:30am – 6:30pm, Tuesday OFF, Wednesday 7:30am – 3:30pm, Thursday 12:15 – 8:15pm, Friday 8am – 3:10pm, with every one in five Saturdays a 7:45am – 12:15pm. With half an hour off for lunch each day which is unpaid for any shift worked over 6 hours.
The organisation may alter the pattern of your working hours on a temporary or permanent basis in line with its reasonable needs in future, even if you have worked a set pattern on a regular basis for a prolonged period. The organisation will provide you with reasonable notice of any such change.
Working hours or days may be variable to meet the need of the business to over leave or sickness and includes the need for overtime.
Starting salary will be dependant on experience, plus the option of the excellent NHS pension scheme if eligible, 28 days annual leave + bank holidays on a prorated bases, cycle to work scheme offered on completion of probation, free on-site parking. Uniform tops are provided.
