Become a Playtimes Nursery Practitioner ✨

Playtimes Academy Nursery is looking for a kind, reliable and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team.
We're a welcoming setting where childrens happiness comes first, and we're looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, works well with others, and is confident using their own initiative throughout the day to help things run smoothly.
We are also looking for someone who can lead the practice within the room and can delegate tasks to others when appropriate e, supporting a well-organised and positive team environment.
What we're looking for:
*A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
*A good understanding of the EYFS
*Someone who enjoys engaging children in play, learning and everyday nursery life
*A calm, caring and positive approach
Confidence to support or lead small group activities
The ability to see what needs doing and take initiative
To lead, support and delegate tasks appropriately within the team
A team player who supports colleagues and works well with others
Someone who helps maintain a safe, calm and well-organised environment
A strong commitment to safeguarding and high-quality care
In the role you will:
Support the daily routines and care of the children
Work alongside management and senior staff to help the nursery run smoothly
The ability to see what needs doing and take gentle initiative
There is also potential for future senior opportunities for the right person as the nursery grows.
Working pattern:
We offer shifts across the week, typically 3, 4 or 5 days per week, depending on the needs of the nursery and the successful candidate.
