Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our dynamic mobile team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on creating high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively during meal preparation
- Assist in the development of new pizza recipes and menu items
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
- Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt and friendly service
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including food safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, especially related to pizza making and meal preparation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- A positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and passion for delivering quality food
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
