Staple Bakery is a neighbourhood bakery in Easton, Bristol, making quality sourdough, pastries, and baked goods from scratch. We opened earlier this year and we're growing -which means we need another pair of skilled hands in the kitchen.
We're looking for a baker who knows their way around sourdough, bread production and pastry. You'd be joining a tight-knit team and have a lot of creative opportunities given our relatively small team.
What you'll be doing
- Bread and sourdough production - mixing, shaping, proofing, baking
- Pastry production - mixing, proofing, laminating, baking and decorating
- Maintaining high and consistent standards every shift
- Following SOPs and meeting our standards of production
What we're looking for
- Solid experience in bread and sourdough baking and pastry production - you understand how to manage and work around these enviroments
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable with early starts
- Someone who takes pride in the product and works well in a small team
The details
- Shifts are 10 hour blocks (so a 40 hour contract would reflect a 4-day work week)
