Frylite Solutions are seeking to recruit a Summer Maintenance Fixed Term Contract Worker to join the Maintenance Team in Strabane on a Fixed Term basis of 2 months.
Hours of Work:
40 Hours Per Week. Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required to meet operational requirements.
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times and work is carried out in a safe manner.
- Carry out basic daily maintenance checks and site inspections as directed by the Maintenance Team.
- Remove and refit wheels on bins and assist with the repair and maintenance of waste handling equipment.
- Fit replacement doors and carry out minor repairs to damaged Dolavs and other site equipment.
- Assist with the monitoring of the water treatment plant when operational, following site procedures and instructions.
- Provide practical support to the maintenance team as an additional resource for maintenance activities and projects.
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks including cleaning filters, lubrication, equipment cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Safely use hand tools and power tools, including grinders and measuring equipment, following training and company procedures.
- Assist with housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Report defects, hazards, and maintenance issues to the Maintenance Team.
Essential Criteria:
- Good practical skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely within an industrial environment.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and manual handling requirements.
- Reliable with a good attendance and timekeeping record.
- Motivated, determined, and willing to learn new skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide support across different departments when required.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Forklift Licence.
