Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving activities.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant warehouse experience and be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. Candidates with fork lift driving experience, or familiarity with warehouse management systems will be highly valued. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic logistics setting.
A full license and own transport is essential as we are a remote site, also proximity to Full Sutton an advantage
Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
- Manage stock levels through accurate stocking and inventory control
- Handle materials efficiently, ensuring safe and organised storage
- Assist with picking and packing orders for dispatch
- Support shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and verification
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous
- Experience in materials handling, stock management, or shipping & receiving roles is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments with long periods of standing or walking
- Previous experience with picking & packing, loading & unloading, or logistics operations will support success in this role
