Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fabricator/Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in MIG welding, fabrication, and the use of various hand and power tools will be essential to delivering high-quality steel solutions for our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely and accurately
- Fabricate steel components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and structural steel according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements with mechanical knowledge
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, quality requirements, and project deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated structures or components as needed, not on site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in MIG welding and welding techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding and metalworking environments
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
- Mechanical aptitude with a focus on precision craftsmanship
- Valid forklift licence and experience operating a forklift
- Welding coding preferred (not essential, as a coding test can be provided to meet BBA requirements)

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
