Sewing Machinist Ad
Our company, on the outskirts of Bristol, is seeking an experienced, skilled Sewing Machinist to join us in this exciting work environment, to complement our existing team in this expanding successful company. As a Sewing Machinist, you will use machines to make up garments, or parts of garments, made to order from the comfort of your own home. We make bespoke costumes where accuracy and quality are at the forefront.
We are looking for someone who has experience using a sewing machine and is comfortable machining a full garment start to finish. Straight-sewn seams are a must. You must be able to return and collect work to and from our office in person once a week,
Day-to-day tasks:
- Machine fabric according to specified patterns and designs
- Operate cutting equipment, such as scissors and knives with precision.
- Ensure accuracy and precision in machining fabric pieces
- Use fault-finding abilities to ensure all sewn products are completed to the client’s specifications
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines
- Inspect fabric for any defects or imperfections
To be considered for the role, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Seamstress/similar role or samples of garments you’ve put together.
- Proficient in sewing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Types: Working from home, Full-time, Part-time, Permanent.
Full training provided, 3-month probationary period. After this time, your position will be reviewed based on progress and requirements met.
