Private Outpatient Medical & Diagnostic Centre
Axon Health Ltd is looking for a professional, confident and highly organised individual to join our growing private outpatient medical and diagnostic service based at Rowtree Road, East Hunsbury, Northampton.
This is a varied role supporting the Executive Director and Executive team across administration, business development, recruitment, marketing, service development and operational activity. The successful candidate will work closely with Executives, consultants, healthcare professionals, suppliers, partner organisations and external stakeholders.
Axon Health provides and is developing consultant-led outpatient healthcare and diagnostic services including consultations, MRI, CT, ultrasound, cardiovascular diagnostics, blood tests, health screening, specialist clinics and outpatient procedures.
The Role
You will support:
- Executive administration, diary coordination and meeting organisation.
- Preparation of agendas, briefing papers, presentations, reports and meeting packs.
- Attendance at business meetings with Executives, recording actions and following matters through to completion.
- Business-case development for new clinical, diagnostic and commercial services, including gathering information, quotations, activity data and supporting documentation.
- Business development, partnership activity and engagement with consultants, GPs, healthcare organisations, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Recruitment administration for Axon Health, including job adverts, candidate coordination, interview arrangements and onboarding support.
- Marketing, website content, social media and promotion of Axon Health services.
- Consultant and clinician engagement and administration.
- Events, conferences, service launches and stakeholder meetings.
- Front-of-house and patient administration where required.
- Deputising for Executives at meetings where appropriate and authorised.
- General business and operational administration as Axon Health continues to grow.
Travel Requirements
The role requires flexibility and travel. The successful candidate will be expected to travel between Axon Health and partner sites, attend meetings and conferences across the UK, and undertake international travel where required for business meetings, conferences and partnership activity. Overnight stays, early starts and evening commitments may be required.
Essential Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong administration and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A professional, confident, discreet and well-presented manner.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to prepare professional documents, presentations, meeting papers and correspondence.
- Ability to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information appropriately.
- Confidence working with Executives, consultants and external stakeholders.
- Ability to contribute to business-case development and support recruitment administration.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally, including overnight stays where required.
- Flexibility regarding working hours when required for business meetings, travel, conferences or events.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and follow actions through to completion.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in executive support, business administration or business development.
- Experience supporting a Director, Executive Director, CEO or Executive team.
- Healthcare, private healthcare, NHS, diagnostics or other regulated-sector experience.
- Experience developing business cases, proposals or tenders.
- Recruitment, HR administration or staff onboarding experience.
- Experience organising meetings, conferences, events or corporate travel.
- Experience with marketing, social media or digital communications.
- Experience preparing professional presentations, reports, quotations or commercial information.
- A full UK driving licence and access to transport.
- Additional language skills.
