Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team for two days each week, specifically on Mondays and Fridays. This dynamic role combines the responsibilities of safe and efficient delivery driving with hands-on warehouse duties. Duties
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Verify delivery details and obtain signatures from recipients to confirm successful deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, picking stock movement,
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment at all times
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent commercial driving license
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues and customers
- Familiarity with driving regulations and safety procedures for commercial vehicles
