About the Role
Tom Evans Carpentry & Building is a growing domestic building company looking for an experienced Carpenter / Multi-Trade Operative to join our team.
We specialise in high-quality domestic renovations and bespoke carpentry, working in customers’ homes across Plymouth, Cornwall and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional workmanship and outstanding customer service, so we’re looking for someone who shares those values.
The Role Includes
● Kitchen installations
● Bathroom installations
● Hanging internal doors
● Fitting architraves, skirting boards and other second-fix carpentry
● Fitting bespoke wardrobes
● Building and installing alcove units
● General carpentry and multi-trade work
● Working independently and as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
● Have proven experience in carpentry and multi-trade work
● Be confident fitting kitchens and bathrooms
● Produce work to a very high standard
● Take pride in attention to detail
● Be reliable, hardworking and well organised
● Be polite, professional and confident when working in customers’ homes
● Have good problem-solving skills and be able to work using their own initiative
● Hold a full UK driving licence
