Welham Green Service Station is a small, friendly and independent garage located in Welham Green, Hertfordshire. Having built up a vast customer base, we are expanding and need an extra mechanic / MOT Tester to help with the workload.
**Job Title:**mechanic / MOT tester
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled mechanic / MOT Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be hands on mechanic. carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repai and be responsible for conducting MOT tests on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical aptitude. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge/ ability to carry out repairs to a high standard.
Monday to Friday, No weekends **Responsibilities:**
- Must hold current MOT license and be able to perform MOT tests on a variety of vehicles in accordance with regulations
- Identify and report any faults or defects found during testing
- Use hand tools effectively to carry out necessary inspections
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing procedures
