Yards Person - Forklift License Required
Job Purpose
Our Forklift drivers at ESG will be ensuring the right glass and orders are picked, packed and sent to the right customer each time. With a keen eye on quality, you will spot if there is an issue before the glass is loaded onto our lorries for transport.
You will be ensuring that the correct item matches the paperwork and preparing it for dispatch for our drivers. You will also be responsible for maintaining the yard area, and completing physical work, lifting and moving glass. This is a varied role with time spent inside the factory picking and packing orders, and outside in our yard, loading lorries and maintaining the area.
Hours are 7.00am-4.30pm

Key Responsibilities
Job Description
- Arranging deliveries for customers, ensuring the correct goods are sent out via our delivery vehicles.
- You will be picking and packing customer orders that need to be delivered and will assist in the loading of our delivery vehicles.
- Replenishing stock levels, producing stock orders for our suppliers when needed.
- Locating goods in the warehouse.
- Completing all associated paperwork and using internal computer systems.
- Ensuring that goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Ensuring all activities are conducted within Company Procedural and Legislative guidelines.
- Maintaining the yard area and ensuring it is safe and well kept at all times.
- Some maintenance duties, such as stillage repair.
About You - Essential
We are looking for a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and quality while ensuring safety is paramount. A good communicator, you will be able to work on your own initiative where necessary and with the rest of the Yard and Loading team. You need to be organised, flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multi task and manage your time effectively. You need to be physically fit, and prepared to work in a loud and fast changing environment.
Qualifications:
You must have a current forklift license
