The Cornish Arms is seeking friendly and enthusiastic Front of House & Bar Staff to join our award-winning team, with both full-time and part-time positions available.
Recognised with a Michelin Bib Gourmand and consistently featured in the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs, The Cornish Arms is renowned for exceptional food and warm, professional hospitality in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Alongside our busy restaurant and bar, we also have seven guest bedrooms.

The Role ~
As a member of our Front of House team, you’ll work across the restaurant and bar, helping to deliver friendly, attentive and efficient service throughout each guest’s visit.
Key Responsibilities ~
Deliver warm, friendly and professional service.
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
Serve food and beverages confidently and knowledgeably.
Prepare and serve drinks behind the bar.
Develop a strong understanding of our menus, ingredients, suppliers and drinks offering.
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant and bar.
Assist with opening, setting up and closing down the restaurant and bar.
Work closely with the kitchen and wider Front of House team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Help create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.
About You ~

Has a genuine interest in hospitality and providing great customer service.
Is friendly, positive and confident when dealing with guests.
Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Is reliable, punctual and conscientious.
Works well as part of a close-knit team.
Is keen to learn and develop their knowledge of food, drink and hospitality.
Is flexible and available to work evenings and weekends.
Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidates.
