Property ConsultantTwo Part-Time Positions | Rosewick Sales & Lettings, Collingham
3 days per week + 1 Saturday in 4
Private healthcare
22 days annual leave FTE
We're looking for two experienced Property Consultants to join our growing team in Collingham.
We've deliberately designed these as part-time positions. We know there are some brilliant, experienced people in property who still love the industry and working with clients, but don't necessarily want the traditional five-day-plus-Saturdays estate agency lifestyle.
We're looking for people who want to bring their experience to a smaller, independent business where they'll be trusted to do their job properly, build genuine relationships and have a good balance outside of work.
People are at the heart of what we do at Rosewick. Moving home can be exciting, but it can also be incredibly stressful. A big part of this role is simply being a safe pair of hands – someone who communicates, understands what people are going through and helps make the process feel as straightforward and pain-free as possible.
What you'll be doing
You'll become a key point of contact for our buyers, vendors, landlords and tenants throughout their relationship with Rosewick.
That will include keeping buyers and vendors updated throughout a sale, speaking with solicitors and other agents to keep transactions moving and making sure clients understand what's happening rather than simply being told that we're "waiting for an update".
You'll register new customers, understand what they need and, where appropriate, introduce them to trusted mortgage advisers, surveyors, solicitors and other property professionals who can help them.
You'll also conduct property viewings, provide useful feedback, support our landlords and tenants, carry out property inspections and help coordinate maintenance issues alongside the wider team.
There's administration involved, of course, but fundamentally this is a people role.
Why Rosewick is different
Rosewick is a personal, professional and entrepreneurial business built around a simple principle: treat every client as though they were a close friend or member of your own family.
If it were your closest friend selling their home, what would you tell them? Who would you recommend? What would you want them to know? That's the standard we try to apply to every client.
Our focus is communication, understanding and professionalism. You'll have the freedom to get to know our clients properly, build trusted relationships and use your own experience and judgement.
We want our clients to know who they're dealing with and feel comfortable picking up the phone to us when they need advice or reassurance.
We're ambitious about growing Rosewick, but we're interested in long-term growth through trust, relationships and reputation. We'd rather do a genuinely good job for someone today and have them recommend us for years to come than chase the quickest result.
Who we're looking for
Ideally, you'll already have experience within estate agency, lettings or residential property and understand how a property transaction works from offer through to completion.
You'll be organised and detailed, but just as importantly you'll be a natural people person – friendly, outgoing, confident on the phone and comfortable talking to people from all walks of life.
We're particularly interested in people who bring experience, maturity and perspective. Someone who knows when a client needs an answer, when they need reassurance and when something simply needs sorting out.
We're looking for someone capable, personable and dependable who enjoys looking after people and takes pride in doing a job properly.
