In this role as a Multi Skilled Wet Trade you'll work closely with residents and colleagues to provide excellent customer service while making a real difference to local communities. A full UK driving licence is essential
Specifically, in the role you will:

Deliver high-quality wet trade works including plastering (e.g., skimming, rendering), tiling, flooring (including vinyl and safety flooring), screeding, brickwork, blockwork, roofing repairs, guttering, drainage, and associated maintenance tasks.
- Undertake a range of secondary multi-skilled tasks including basic carpentry, plumbing, groundworks, fencing, and painting and decorating as required.
- Diagnose faults, determine the scope of works, and carry out repairs in line with industry standards, regulations, and best practice.
- Complete all work within agreed timescales and quality standards, ensuring efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
- Undertake asbestos-related tasks where trained (e.g., removal, bagging, and tagging in line with safety requirements).
- Plan, organise, and prioritise workloads, interpreting verbal and written instructions and resolving on-site issues with practical solutions.
- Estimate, order, and manage materials and van stock effectively, ensuring timely completion of works.
- Accurately record work activities, job status, materials, and time using mobile/electronic systems, including photographic evidence, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Operate and maintain allocated vehicles, including conducting daily safety checks and ensuring safe, courteous use in line with company policies.
- Ensure safe use, storage, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials, reporting any defects promptly.
- Work in full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, safe systems of work, GDPR, equality and diversity standards, and all organisational policies and procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service by engaging professionally with residents, responding to service requests, resolving issues, and using feedback to improve services.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and external partners, contributing to a collaborative “one team” approach.
- Support colleagues and assist wider maintenance teams to ensure work programmes (responsive, planned, and voids) are delivered efficiently.
- Mentor and support apprentices or less experienced colleagues where required.
- Participate in out-of-hours call-out services where required.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to organisational objectives, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent the organisation professionally at all times and undertake any additional duties as required.
