As our CAMHS services continue to grow, we're looking for a passionate Deputy Manager to help lead a high-quality service supporting children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural and mental health needs.
The Role:
Working alongside the Registered Manager, you'll help lead the day-to-day running of our CAMHS service, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
You'll support and develop staff, promote safeguarding and quality, and help create a positive environment where children and young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day leadership of the service
- Lead and motivate staff teams to deliver outstanding care
- Promote safeguarding, quality and regulatory compliance
- Support audits, care planning, risk assessments and service improvement
- Assist with incidents, complaints and safeguarding investigations
- Coach, supervise and develop staff
- Build positive relationships with families and partner agencies
- Support inspections and governance activities
- Monitor service performance and outcomes
- Provide operational leadership in the Registered Manager's absence
About You:
We're looking for an organised, compassionate and proactive leader with experience supporting children and young people within health, social care, education or children's services.
You will ideally have:
- Experience as a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or similar leadership role
- Experience supporting children and young people with mental health needs, autism, learning disabilities, trauma or behaviours of concern
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and child-centred practice
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and quality requirements
- Experience leading, supervising or mentoring staff teams
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using digital care systems and electronic records
- A Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
- A Level 5 Leadership qualification (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable

Important Requirements:
- Role is subject to an Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to travel to services and meetings when required
- Full UK driving licence desirable
