We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they enter.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and quality.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet our quality standards.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Engage with customers, taking their orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- A friendly attitude with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
