2fawcett Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced HR & Compliance Administrator! This is a varied role responsible for managing the day-to-day HR function alongside company compliance. You'll support recruitment, employee relations, payroll, training, HR administration, and compliance, working closely with senior management to ensure effective people processes and regulatory requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day HR function and act as the first point of contact for employee and management queries.
- Develop and maintain HR systems, ensuring accurate records for attendance, absence, disciplinary actions, and employee training.
- Coordinate the full recruitment process, including writing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening applications, and arranging interviews.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and business needs.
- Prepare employee handbooks, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Support managers with employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.
- Administer weekly payroll, including timesheet calculations, holiday management, and payroll processing.
About You:
- Previous experience in a HR Officer, HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or similar standalone HR role.
- Experience supporting payroll administration and maintaining HR records.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Compliance experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with HR systems.
