Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, offices, retail spaces, and other commercial properties according to established standards
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to achieve optimal results
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize surfaces, and empty trash bins regularly to maintain hygiene standards
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks to the supervisor promptly
- Adhere to client-specific cleaning instructions and schedules to meet individual requirements
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding client needs
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to work
