Job Overview
We are seeking a Assistant Plant/Transport Manager to assist the Plant/Transport Manager in running a busy Plant/Transport Depot. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing staff.
Duties
Assisting in the day to day management of a Plant and vehicle fleet. Ordering parts. Scheduling MOT's, services and six weekly inspections.
Ensuring all vehicles are legally compliant, maintaining accurate records both manual and electronic.
Maintaining parts stock levels.
Deputising for the Plant/Transport Manger in their absence.
Experience of a Plant or transport depot desirable, but full on job training provided
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
