Senior Support Worker – Brand New Children's Home
Kidderminster | Full Time | Make a Difference from Day One
Ready to help build something special?
We're opening a brand-new children's home in Kidderminster, and we're looking for an experienced, passionate, and energetic Senior Support Worker to join us on this exciting journey from the very beginning.
This isn't just another job. It's an opportunity to help create a safe, nurturing, and fun home where young people can thrive, grow, and achieve things they never thought possible.
If you're the kind of person who can handle a challenging day, celebrate the small wins, stay calm under pressure, and still find time for a game of football, baking session, or movie night, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll be a positive role model for both young people and colleagues. You'll help lead shifts, support care planning, mentor team members, and most importantly, build meaningful relationships with the children in our care.
No two days will be the same. One day you could be supporting a young person with schoolwork, the next helping them learn life skills, attending appointments, planning activities, or celebrating a personal achievement.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working in a children's residential setting
- Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Confidence leading shifts and supporting colleagues
- A genuine passion for improving young people's lives
- Resilience, empathy, and a good sense of humour
- Full UK driving licence
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a brand-new home from the very start
- Help shape the culture, routines, and environment
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Supportive leadership team who value your ideas
- Career progression opportunities as the service grows
- The chance to make a lasting impact every single day
The Person We're Looking For
We're looking for people who show up, care deeply, stay consistent, and believe that every child deserves someone who won't give up on them.
Someone who can be firm when needed, fun when appropriate, and always focused on helping young people feel safe, valued, and understood.
Ready to Join Our Story?
If you're excited about helping launch a new children's home and want to be part of a team that puts young people at the heart of everything we do, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today and help us create a home where children don't just live – they belong.
