Join Samba Soccer Schools as a Football Coach Today
We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable football coaches to help inspire the next generation through Joga Bonito football.
We coach children aged 4–12 through high-energy, Brazilian-inspired sessions that develop confident, skilful and creative players in a fun, supportive environment.
Every session is built around three core principles:
Skill Development – Simple, progressive coaching that builds real ability.
Creativity & Confidence – Encouraging players to express themselves and play without fear.
Fun & Energy – Fast-paced sessions with music that keep children engaged and excited to learn.
We're recruiting ahead of our September launch through a practical coaching assessment.
Practical Assessments
Practical assessments will take place over the weekend of 15th–16th August.
Assessment places are limited, so we recommend applying early.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging, well-structured football sessions.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for all players.
- Demonstrate football techniques clearly and confidently.
- Support player development across different age groups.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents and fellow coaches.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and arrive prepared and on time.
Where You'll Coach
You'll primarily coach at:
Grantham
Meres Leisure Centre
Trent Road, Grantham NG31 7XQ
Sundays, 10:00am – 12:00pm
As the programme grows, there may also be opportunities to coach at additional hours/venues across the local area.
We also have coaching opportunities in Peterborough.
What We're Looking For
- FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate (Introduction to Football Coaching).
- Experience coaching children aged 4–12.
- Enhanced DBS check, ideally issued within the last 12 months, or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong football ability and confidence demonstrating skills.
- A genuine passion for helping young players develop.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and able to travel to the venue each week.
