We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard, ensuring sites remain safe, tidy, and visually appealing. This is a part time role and the requirement is to work either 2 -3 days between Mon & Friday with overtime available.
Key Duties:
- Grass cutting, strimming, and hedge trimming
- Weed control and general grounds maintenance
- Litter picking and site tidiness
- Planting, pruning, and seasonal landscaping work
- Operating and maintaining grounds maintenance equipment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping experience is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Local to B60/B61
- Willing to travel as a passenger in Company Vehicle to travel from site to site
Pay: Up to £13.25 per hour
