Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee and coordinate electrical projects within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple contracts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical projects from Quotation through to completion and final account.
- Plan and coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and materials.
- Monitor project programmes, budgets, costs and profitability.
- Manage variations, change control and additional works.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Identify and resolve project risks and technical issues.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors and consultants.
- Produce project reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Manage procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality standards, testing and project handover requirements.
- Lead and support site teams to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and specialised project management software.
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing electrical contracts.
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
- Experience delivering commercial electrical installations.
- Excellent knowledge of BS7671.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with IT systems relevant to project management.
- Valid driving licence is preferred for site visits; flexibility to travel as required.
Qualifications
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS Gold Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
- NICEIC Qualified Supervisor experience
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
This role requires a dedicated professional capable of managing complex projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout all phases of work.
Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
