Job Title: Care Assistant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our client. The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, provide companionship, and ensure the client’s comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.

Provide support with daily personal care and activities of daily living.

Assist the client with mobility and safe walking support, including using mobility aids such as a walking stick.

Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation and meaningful interaction.

Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and drinks according to the client’s preferences.

Encourage adequate nutrition and hydration by offering refreshments regularly.

Empty and clean the commode as required, maintaining good hygiene standards.

Make the client’s bed daily and change/wash bedding regularly when required.

Support with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes and bedding.

Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including tidying the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and other areas.

Assist with household tasks such as taking out bins and keeping the client’s surroundings organised.

Provide support with caring for household pets/animals, including feeding a visiting cat and refilling outdoor animal feeders and water bowls.

Observe and report any changes in the client’s health, behaviour, mobility, or wellbeing.

Follow the client’s care plan and maintain confidentiality, dignity, and respect at all times.
