Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pub Chef to lead the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with pub menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high standards of food production.
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimise waste.
- Oversee food safety procedures, including hygiene standards and allergen management, in compliance with regulations.
- Lead the team during busy service periods, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer experience.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service delivery and address customer needs.
- Develop new menu ideas in line with current trends and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant environment.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and allergen control procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure during peak hours.
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team motivation.
- Good understanding of food production processes and culinary techniques.
- Experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous for understanding customer expectations.

Pay: £12.80-£15.00 per hour
