Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Production Planner &
Warehouse Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day production planning, stock
management, order packing, and raw material procurement. This is a pivotal role within a
growing business, working closely with the Production team to ensure efficient fulfilment
of both wholesale and direct-to-consumer orders while maintaining a sharp focus on
profitability and minimising lead times.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Stock Management
- Liaise closely with the Production team to establish and maintain base stock
levels across wholesale and web order channels.
- Monitor stock levels proactively, identifying replenishment needs before shortages
arise.
- Develop and refine stock planning processes to support consistent and reliable order
fulfilment.
- Analyse demand patterns across channels to optimise production scheduling and
stock holding.
Order Fulfilment & Packing
- Manage the end-to-end fulfilment of wholesale and web orders, ensuring accuracy
and efficiency at every stage.
- Oversee and assist with the packing of orders, maintaining high standards of
presentation and accuracy.
- Identify and implement improvements to packing and dispatch processes to reduce
lead times.
- Monitor order pipelines and proactively communicate with relevant teams to resolve
any fulfilment bottlenecks.
Raw Material Procurement
- Take ownership of raw material ordering, ensuring the business always holds
sufficient materials to meet production requirements.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and
reliable lead times.
- Track and manage stock of raw materials, flagging risks to supply continuity in a
timely manner.
- Evaluate procurement decisions with a focus on cost efficiency and contribution to
overall profitability.
Profitability & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain an awareness of material costs, stock wastage, and fulfilment costs,
identifying opportunities to improve margins.
- Track key performance metrics including lead times, stock accuracy, order fill rates,
and procurement costs.
- Contribute ideas and initiative to drive efficiency improvements across the production
and fulfilment function.
- Report regularly to senior management on stock levels, order status, and any
operational issues.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in a production planning, stock management, or order fulfilment
role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
simultaneously.
- Confident working with spreadsheets and stock management or ERP systems.
- A methodical, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams.
- A commercially minded outlook with an understanding of cost and margin.
Desirable
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with wholesale and e-commerce order management.
- Experience in raw material or consumables procurement.
- Understanding of lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies.

Package & Benefits
- Salary: £26,000 - 28,000 per annum
- Full-time, permanent position - Mon - Fri - 8.30am - 5pm
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
